Three (03) months certificate course on NUMERICAL ABILITY.
The course will be imparted to BCA students of 4th semester.
Course fee: Rs.2,000/-
Classes will be held 3 days in a week. Total number of classes is 36 days of one hour duration. For every topic, 10 numbers of questions will be given as assignment.
After completion of the course, certificate will be given to students having 90% attendance and submission of assignments.
A faculty will be assigned to conduct the course and Vice-Principal cum coordinator of BCA will monitor the successful implementation of the course.
Following topics will be taught with examples (2 classes for each topic).

Concept of Server, client, node, segment, backbone, host etc. Analog and Digital transmission, Network Interface Card, Crimping tools and Colour standards for Straight crimping and Cross crimping Functions of NIC, Repeaters, Hub, Switches, Routers, Bridges, Router etc.

Media types: STP cable, UTP cable, Coaxial cable, Fibre cable, Base band and Broadband transmission, Cables and Connectors, Physical and logical topologies, Bus, Star, Ring and Mesh topologies.
